【摘要】:DescribesacommunicationinterfacebetweenachannelandI/OcontrolunitsthatutilizetheSingle-ByteCommandCodeSets(SBCCS)asimplementedinawiderangeofdataprocessingsystems.ItemploysinformationformatsandsignalingprotocolsthatprovideauniformmeansforcommunicatingwithvarioustypesofI/Ocontrolunits,facilitatingahighbandwidth,highperformance,andlongdistanceinformationexchangeenvironment.Thesignalingprotocolsandinformationex-changesaredefinedatalayer(FC-4)tocompatiblyutilizethelinkservicesandotherfunctionspro-videdbytheANSIFibreChannelPhysicalandSignalingInterface(FC-PH)architecture(ANSIX3.230-1994,reference[1]).ThisFC-4UpperLevelProtocolisreferredtoastheFibreChannel-Single-Byte-2CommandCodeSetsMappingProtocol(orforbrevity,SB-2).
